Ah, breakfast! The most important and aesthetically pleasing meal of the day. Which is probably why I take so many photos of it. Here’s another, following a familiar template: buttered toast, gooseberry jam, coffee and hot milk. No Woods Ware at home, unfortunately, but we do have some Soper-esque spotty crockery that Anne would probably like.
